This website is owned and operated by VM Wood Age, a solid hardwood furniture manufacturer having its workshop and fulfillment facility at SC 114D–117D, Narayan Vihar-Y, 80 FT Road, Jaisinghpura, Jaipur, Rajasthan - 302026, India.
By accessing our website, placing an order, or requesting bespoke furniture manufacturing, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011.
2. 100% Solid Sheesham Authenticity Standard
We provide a legally binding authenticity guarantee that every furniture piece designated as "Solid Sheesham" is built exclusively from certified seasoned Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia sissoo):
- Zero Composite Wood Guarantee: We never incorporate MDF, HDF, particle board, or synthetic blockboard into structural frames, headboards, table tops, or leg pillars.
- Kiln Seasoning Compliance: Timber is vacuum kiln-dried below 10%–12% moisture content to prevent seasonal warping, joint expansion, and cracks under Indian climatic variations.
- Natural Grain Uniqueness: Solid Sheesham wood displays unique grain ripples, tonal contrasts, and natural knot signatures. Minor grain variations between individual pieces are hallmarks of authentic organic hardwood, not defects.
3. Pricing, GST Invoicing & Legal Metrology
In accordance with Rule 6 of the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules:
- All-Inclusive Pricing: All listed factory prices on VM Wood Age are inclusive of 18% Goods & Services Tax (GST). What you see is what you pay—there are zero hidden handling or checkout platform fees.
- Direct Tax Invoicing: Every order is accompanied by a statutory Tax Invoice mentioning HSN Code 9403 (Wooden Furniture) with full manufacturer and customer billing details.
- Zero Showroom Markup: Our pricing reflects direct factory manufacturing rates without intermediary distributor markups or retail showroom lease surcharges.
4. 36-Month Comprehensive Timber Warranty
Every furniture piece is backed by our direct 36-Month Structural Manufacturer Warranty:
What Is Covered:
- Timber borer and wood termite infestation under normal residential indoor use.
- Structural joinery failure (mortise and tenon joint integrity).
- Hydraulic gas struts and lifting pistons (extended 5-year replacement warranty on bed mechanisms).
What Is Excluded:
- Normal wear and tear of upholstery fabrics, foam compression beyond 15%, or deliberate scratching.
- Damage resulting from outdoor exposure to rain or direct unshaded sun (unless designated as outdoor furniture).
5. Dispute Resolution & Territorial Jurisdiction
Any disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or relating to transactions on this website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. The courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising hereunder.
